rPET

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a thermoplastic used in packaging of drinks (drinks bottles) , food / pharmaceutical packaging and fibres for clothing.

Recycled PET (rPET) is derived from PET material collected for recycling , it is carefully separated and cleaned in this process. Sorted plastic bottles are ground into flakes.These flakes are thoroughly washed to remove any residue of dirt or foreign materials. The material is then heated to melt the plastic into strands and then chopped into small pellets.

These plastic pellets can be used rPET and reintroduced into the manufacturing process.
